As you probably know, the UK’s lockdown has been extended for three more weeks. Whilst this is obviously necessary and essential in the fight against Covid-19, it can affect people’s mental health causing extreme anxiety and other problems.
The impact of one’s mental health can be detrimental and sometimes one needs to escape reality. One way to escape reality is reading.
I love reading and have done for most of my life; I like loads of different genres ranging from romance to crime thrillers.
Books are packages of creativity that allow you to be transported to a different universe and use your imagination. Escaping reality through books is a good way of looking after your mental health.
